How we picked
This guide draws from a pool of three listings in the VR headset catalogue whose titles state eye tracking, the rule behind the small set. The headsets are compared on stated details and live prices, not on anything the catalogue cannot say. The ordering rule ranks the picks by the number of stated yes details among mixed reality, plays PC VR, eye tracking and controllers included, then by stated storage, then by the order of the pool. All three listings tie on one stated yes detail (eye tracking) and none states storage, so the pool order decides the ranks. Details not stated by the seller play no part here.
How to choose
What eye tracking means on a listing
Eye tracking appears in a listing title when the seller states the headset has it. The maker's page for VIVE describes eye tracking as offering gaze input, avatar eye control, and optimized performance via foveated rendering; not every app or game uses it. In this guide, all three picks state eye tracking, and it is the only yes detail the pool carries for them.
Standalone, PC VR or PlayStation
The three picks here all state PC VR, which means they run from a gaming PC. A standalone headset runs apps on its own, and a PlayStation headset runs from a PlayStation console, as the maker's PlayStation VR2 page states. Buyers should check the listing and the maker's page for what each headset needs: a PC, a console, or a phone app and account.
What comes in the box
None of the three listings states whether storage or controllers are included. The phrase 'not stated by the seller' means the catalogue has no word on it, not that the item is missing. Read each listing before buying to see what the price covers.
What this guide leaves out (and why)
This guide focuses only on the details stated in each listing, and it notes when a detail is not stated by the seller. The site does not guess. For health and safety guidance, follow the maker's instructions and the listing's own notes.
Stated details versus guesses
Every detail in this guide is either stated in a listing or marked 'not stated by the seller'. Details such as storage and controllers come from the listing title as the seller wrote it. If a listing carries wording like 'Enterprise' or regional versions, read the listing on region, plug, warranty and what the price covers.
Questions
Does this guide compare comfort, image quality or motion sickness?
No. The catalogue holds only the details stated in each listing, so this guide does not guess. It lists headsets on stated details and live prices only. For any headset, follow the maker's health and safety guidance as stated in the listing.
Are any of these eye tracking headsets standalone?
No. All three listings in this pool state PC VR, which means each runs from a gaming PC. No standalone listing in the catalogue states eye tracking, so this guide covers only the PC VR ones. Buyers without a gaming PC should look at the standalone part of the catalogue instead.
What does eye tracking do on these listings?
The VIVE maker's page describes eye tracking as offering gaze input, avatar eye control, and optimized performance via foveated rendering. Not every app uses eye tracking, and the catalogue does not say which ones do. Buyers should treat eye tracking as a stated feature, not a promise about any specific game.
Do these listings state storage or controllers?
No. Storage and controllers are not stated by the sellers of any of the three listings. The catalogue records only what each listing title says, so 'not stated' means there is no word on the subject. Read the listing to see what the price covers before buying.
